Hello World...
OK, so here I step into the world of Blogging. It's something I've avoided for sometime but the pull is now too strong.
That last statement isn't entirely true... I once tried blogging before but failed. Its harder work that you might think and for me personally made harder but my lack of literary skills!!
I thought I'd start with maybe a bit about me and a small mission statement... then see where this takes me. I have an idea in my head what I'd like this to be but we'll see if it takes me there.
Who am I?
David Bright - thirty something, married and live on the South Coast of England.
I work as an application development & support team for an international bank. I mainly work on Mainframe zOS working with Natural and COBOL... its super old school but I'm a dieing breed!
I play 11 aside Sunday League Football, 5 aside indoor football twice a week.
My wife and I are outdoors people, most of our holiday's have been hiking up Mountains..

Then last but not least we own a double Kayak which gets plenty of use on the south coast.
Mission Statement
I'm going to blog things interesting to me. Review kit I've used, places I've been or things I've found useful. Maybe post some blogs on how I'd done something in particular... and see where that takes me. First up it will always be my honest opinion and at the end of the day its only going to be an opinion. I'll welcome all constructive comments :)
